A few words of wisdom I’ve learned when grieving:
I can’t logic myself out of grief.
I don’t just cry tears, I cry feelings.
I have to feel it to heal it.
Nobody grieves perfectly.
Beautiful music sooths my soul.
Most never understand until they experience it.
Taking good care of myself in my grief is not selfish–it’s essential.
Mourn for as long as you need to–but just visit, don’t camp there.
