Blues cars are Chevy’s and Cadillac’s. Other acceptable blues transportation is a Greyhound bus or a southbound train. Walkin’ plays a major part in the blues lifestyle. So does fixin’ to die.

You can’t have the blues in an office or a shopping mall; the lighting is wrong.

To have a successful relationship I must learn to make it look like I’m giving as much as I’m getting.

Does my quiet self-pity get to you or should I move up to incessant nagging?

Only a lack of imagination saves me from immobilizing myself with imaginary fears.
